I remember the first time I trailered a boat, at 16 or something. I was scared cause it was a old man's boat that he loved dearly, but I got it done well enough, and was proud of myself for that. That guy was old but he gave me a chance my boomer dad never would have. Now my dad can't park his boat without fucking it up, and I laugh every time I see him try.

This is how you raise a man, give him big resposibilities.
