So Paul, I know you are really pro-vax and pro-mask, etc. but they aren’t very effective. I won’t say there’s absolute proof they are useless but they are certainly not making things significantly better. They aren’t solving the problem.
It seems to me that the only path out of this is natural immunity—people getting infected the old fashioned way and the virus evolving in to a more innocuous strain like the spanish flu did. The most practical way to do that without having another 10 million people die is for the governments to focus on improving upon existing therapeutic interventions— optimizing antiviral administration early in the disease for example. The government(s) don’t seem to care about this at all. They are blowing their wad on vaccine promotions and harrassment campaigns and lockdowns. CDC, NHS, etc. have totally abdicated their mission. All the drug research is being done by little countries. Its nuts.
I guess Im just wondering whether you and other vaxers see that an unlimited number of boosters is not going to fix this problem. Its not going away. What is your thinking?

Indication that vaccines were working would be that countries in which vaccinations rates were very high would have very low covid levels or that covid wouldn’t be killing anybody but the absolute frailest people. That isn’t so. Covid is as bad as ever. The dominant strain is a strain that evolved in response to the vaccination. It is more contagious and it is resistant to the vaccine antibody to the RBD. That will only get worse as additional mutations occur.
Is there any level of covid related carnage that would lead you to believe that the vaccine isn’nt working? I get the feeling that covid could wipe out half the population. It could become 10x more deadly. And people would still be walking around saying “the vaccine works”. No it doesn’t. The evidence is everywhere. This is a complete failure by any measure. All the vaccines are doing is fucking with the evolution of this virus and making it unpredictable. If traffic lights started failing I would find out how they work.
Aren’t you gonna get in trouble with your wife for chatting up the nazi chicks, Unca Paul? I can’t tell if your just pulling my leg. But worshipping a credentialling system thats become so ridiculously corrupted is foolhardy. People who are confident of their assertions don’t need to censor scientific discussion. Do you like my conditioner?

"Is there any level of covid related carnage that would lead you to believe that the vaccine isn’nt (sic) working"
My reading is there is currently no covid carnage i.e.high level of ICU admissions/deaths in vaccinated populations.
"But worshipping a credentialling system thats become so ridiculously corrupted is foolhardy."
'Worshipping' is your word. I'm just a punter like billions of others who takes his medicine with a teaspoon of treacle. Life's too short to double-guess experts but I did note they get it wrong. We should rely on what we learn and instinct.
"Do you like my conditioner?". It's heady and makes me swoon. I'm running my lips across the back of your neck right at this very minute.
Edit: "Aren’t you gonna get in trouble with your wife for chatting up the nazi chicks, Unca Paul?".
I love my wife dearly but I ain't the faithful type. I'd never get a job as a spy. All Mata Hari need do is flash a little cleavage and I'd give her America's secrets!
