Well if I approach this from a psychopaths mentality there are too many people to manage easily and effectively. Or at least not to the degree it could otherwise be. If the idea is to live as the dominant life form indifferent to the life and death of others you wont want a population bigger than what is convenient to you. If you think about it from such a perspective a wmd here or there solves one issue after another with the smallest of effort. He told me something very interesting when I spoke to him recently about mask exemptions. The government threatened him if he backed any actual medical reason for wearing masks that doesnt relate to actual physically wearing a mask, such as sores on your face. He said he had someone with a severe issue I wont repeat (in case it incriminates him) that they shouldnt be wearing masks for because it was detrimental to them, but they made him rescind it and barred him from making anymore formal exceptions.

As I have posted before, medicos in Australia are now bound by APHRA and the surgeon generals mission statement (made by politicians). Many doctors got their medical licences revoked due to providing medical information that contradicts the party political statement. Recently many got reinstated due to a shortage of trained medical staff, but they are all on a short leash.
