A MC bro of mine in the "1%er" class back in 1985 told me that the bow is most preferred for settling unsettled arrangements. We would hone our skills with targets at 30 and 50 yrds, pumpkins with a Dia of 20". At 15 to 20 yards we hit grapefruits using 80lb composite bows. One buddy who had arms the size of 5 gal pails (tongue in cheek) used a 60lb long bow and he was deadly...the "toxon" (bow) is the silent killer. It's funny how I learned what a toxon was from my Bros back in the 80s and not from schooling. I haven't pulled a bowstring for some years now but it's something that one will never forget how to do once it's mastered. I remember a pit bull taking down "Bubba's" horse and he put a broadhead right through the ribs at an angle taking out the lungs, that fucking mutt went the length of a football field with lungs spewing from it's nostrils and it was his cousins dog...he launched that arrow before "Bubba Two" dropped the clip into the "Tec 9"...his cousin knew the moment that dog attacked the horse that was it. SILENCE IS DEADLY.

I love my bow and arrow. I group on golf tees at 50 yards. I practice with moving targets too! Great hobby that nets me a few hundred pounds each year.
