Internet Archive.is lawsuit

submitted by UncleDoug to news 3.7 yearsOct 17, 2021 22:55:00 ago (+10/-0)     (archive.is)

https://archive.is/Mi3kJ

The kikes are trying to delete all the evidence we have on them.

Everytime they get ousted, they delete the source so we started archiving it as evidence.

Now they want to delete it.

From 2020

We need a new way to backup content.
Don't forget to use plugins like Filshot to save entire web pages and store them locally aswell.

Seems like a solid defense from IA

The two strongest solutions against censorship currently are LBRY (many are familiar with Odysee.com) and IPFS (Inter Planetary File System).

LBRY

https://odysee.com/@FreeSoftware:1/IPFS+LBRY-Experiment:e

https://cdn.lbryplayer.xyz/api/v4/streams/free/IPFS+LBRY-Experiment/eaf79012b853ce6432422fa7de3a17856566f357/2f41c6

Don't use the Odysee page to upload content there, use a LBRY compliant client, for example the official one at https://lbry.com or a Free fork which has had LBRY Inc's blacklist removed here:

https://github.com/paveloom-f/lbry-desktop/releases

Unlike using Odysee's webpage tool, uploading with a client informs the blockchain that the content will also be available from sources other than Odysee.com, so it would be retrievable if censored/masked.

IPFS

Use a VPN if you are pinning (publishing content) and run your IPFS node inside a VM (Virtual Machine). We should be sharing IPFS CIDs (Content Identification) hashes to share content, and using IPFS as our CDN (Content Delivery Network).

Here is an example of an IPFS tool to make the process simple:

You can create your own instance of imageserver.link

More of the abuse those fuckers have been getting away with.

They took advantage of digital to make lending books illegal as if the entire concept of the internet belongs to them and is only for their use and abuse.

And if you look at all the imprints and publishing houses that Bertelsmann owns, it's fucking staggering. Penguin and Pearson educational and so many more. They were the freaks that used an army of internet shills an their pals at Reuters and AP to push that horrendous bag of shit 50 Shades of gray absolutely everywhere and in news items.

If course they're a charitable foundation for inveiglement and tax write offs. They have offices in Washington DC for lobbying and bribing with lucrative book contracts and ghost writers for their greedy whore politicians.

If there were such a thing as one honest politician or agency head their illegal monopoly would have been broken up a long time ago.

Bertelsmann may be one one of the most dangerous of the abusive, thieving, communist "globalists". They're making textbooks full of global warming doomsday cult bullshit.

The suit concerns Internet Archive (archive.org, not archive.is for clarity) and it's amazing how much the media is trying to downplay this as nothing.

Thanks for the clarification, I must have misread it.

No problem, I figured it was just a slip of the fingers since you'd archived a story about archive.org using archive.is :P
