A student in Illinois has been given a probationary sentence for posting an ad on Craigslist offering one of his Black classmates as a "slave for sale."

The unnamed male student at Naperville Central High School in the western Chicago suburb of Naperville, Illinois, was given a two-year probationary sentence and was ordered to serve 100 hours of community service, per a statement released by the DuPage County state attorney's office.

Standards are for whites only, blacks need not apply.

Come on, the idea that there's any Christians in court or in law, and the idea that legal positivism is in any way applicable to the current rule of law is a farce. Likely a plea deal made by scared parents. I dont see how you can be convicted of a hate crime in the US. Its not a crime to hate. Im not an expert but I thought a hate crime was something that added an extra layer of punishment to an otherwise not important crime. Like burning rubber on a rainbow flag crosswalk. It would just be a careless driving ticket and simple moving violation, but add hate crime to it, now youre going to prison.
