The boomers were tricked. They know not what they did. They were presented with irresistible deals, and not informed of the real costs. Imagine if the hippies of the 70s were informed that, if they took the offers that were presented to them under the conditions that were presented to them at the time, later generations would be dirt poor and live shitty, futile lives working futile jobs and not even be able to make ends meet, not be able to buy a house when working 40 or more hours a week. Would they have taken those deals? I'd like to think not. I'd like to think that the long-term effects of the situations presented to them would have pulled their hippy heart strings and they'd have turned them down and made sacrifices for future generations. I believe they knew not what they were doing.

True I guess. I even work with an older fella who still has the "pull yourself up by the bootstraps" mentality. I know theat they truly cannot be convinced otherwise now. My father is the same way. I just ignore them now, and don't even try to redpill them any more. They don't want to learn any more about how the world is now. They still think that the current gens are lazy and entitled, and that's that. I know they're wrong. But all the reasoning in the world is just coping to them. They will never give it much thought. Still, I still believe they are just a lost cause and are unable to comprehend what they've bought into and done. I forgive them, but that doesn't mean I don't think they're hard-headed and thus retarded. They think things are the same or similar as to when they were young. They will die in denial as their offspring are cursed to wage slavery. It's up to the new generations to fix the problems that they ignored.
