Monogamy is inherently economically conserving and forces males to compete through economic productivity (supporting children), instead of wasting resources on reckless violence and reckless fucking. Genes for honesty, hard work, high IQ, cooperation win out over genes for deception and other opportunistic strategies. Cold weather climates promote monogamists. Monogamy promotes high cooperation and lowers aggressive competition between males.

Now you know WHY Islamic countries are full of genetically rapey , aggressive males. Evolution goes both ways, and societies can become stupider and more aggressive and corrupt if the wrong kind of males become reproductively successful.
