This is a classic case of someone who thinks they're smarter than they are. One of the lawyers commenting summed it up correctly. He was telling all this self-aggrandizing shit. The defense lawyer caught him in lie after lie. He was humiliated. He didn't want to keep being embarrassed anymore so he just stopped lying.

This is how budding leftists are dealt with in a healthy society.

This particular heeb has a very interesting tell. When he's comfortable and/or confident, i.e. with the prosecutor, he makes a show of his (((testimony))), hamming up how much he's always wanted to save lives, how he would've helped anyone regardless of affiliation, he's so hurt and injured now, etc.

And he does all this by compulsively turning to the jury to tell them this. He can't help it. This, by the way, is a tangential form of a self-comforting gesture. He looks at the jury to "check" on their reactions to what he's saying. He wants to see if they believe/sympathize with him.

This behavior does a 180 the moment the defense starts digging into him. About halfway through, you can see a sort of lightbulb moment where he's like "oh yeah, I gotta convince these goyim too" and he mechanically and consciously begins to look at the jury again as he answers questions.

And of course, this is also an excellent example of pilpul in action. Regardless of veracity, this yid did everything possible to avoid a straight answer, always minimizing or misdirecting. He shrinks a bit more every time he's made to give a straight "yes" or "that's correct" -- especially if it demonizes him.

For me, one of the most hilarious pilpul moments was when the defense was like "look at this guy behind you, he's got a stick or a bat or something like that right?" The response: "It appears to be some kind of wooden object."

And of course, as @lepersbell mentions, the CCW line of questioning had plenty of pilpul too. Reminder that pilpul literally means "endless hairsplitting," which is the jew's favorite tactic:

"You had that gun illegally, right?"
"No, I didn't."
"You were carrying the gun illegally."
"No, I wasn't."
"But you need a CCW to carry it like that."
"Yes."
"You didn't have a CCW that night."
"Yes I did."
"The CCW wasn't in effect at the time."
"No it wasn't."

Filthy jews, I swear. It's like trying to nail pudding to a wall.
