People in San Francisco (sadly), how stringent are the vax card requirements to go to stores / restaurants / attractions?

I need to go to San Francisco and unfortunately need to take my kids there. (I know, I know - it's a family thing.) None of us are jabbed and I'm thinking of forging up some vax cards.

Are people asking for vax cards for restaurants or stores or attractions? If they do, do they require you show ID as well? Do they record any of the information from the vax card (lot #, date, name...)?

Would just be a one-day visit and it's unfortunately one I can't avoid. Any real help would be appreciated.

IDK how much they check bc I stopped doing those activities. Supposedly restaurants/bars check vax cards. But you can do other stuff w/o vax I believe. They would not record info from the card, afaik.

I wouldn't bother with fake cards. There's plenty to do in the city without them.

You can get take-out food without for example. You can see the sites (Alcatraz is great). Walk across GG bridge, etc.

If you jump on the ferry to Alcatraz, consider going to Angel island and see the 1800s history.
