Don't get too comfortable. The judge is a democrat appointee and he can play the right side all day long. "oh it's absolute, Kyle has been railroaded, he'll get off for sure." And what if he gives him 20 years? What then? The country is whipped for good and all. From the point of view of an egomania leftist, it's how it would play out better than a obviously "progressive" White hating genocider judge.
Yeah, but there's nothing I can do at this point. The jury is likely some cucked pussies that don't think he should have been there, so it's his fault. Realistically, he should have never been charged.
Technically, he should be the arbiter of rules. He should be impartial and ensure the defendant has a fair trial, including the presumption of innocence.
Every indictment I've ever seen says something to the effect of "Under the penalty of perjury I believe the defendant has committed x crime" This exists precisely to prevent political prosecutions.
Ideally the jury would be given the option of 3 verdicts: Guilty, Not-guilty, perjury. Not guilty means the case was just not strong enough to overcome "beyond a shadow of a doubt" and perjury would mean that they believe the prosecutor acted in bad faith.
Were this on the table the cases against zimmerman and rittenhouse would never have been filed.
