Moving the Goalposts: Kyle Rittenhouse Prosecution Pushes a “Multitude” of Lesser Crimes In Last-Ditch Attempt to Secure Some Jail Time

In a shocking admission on Friday, the prosecution said that because of the evidence presented in the case “a reasonable jury or juror” could acquit Rittenhouse on the most serious charges that he faces.
Wisconsin’s Assistant District Attorney James Kraus acknowledged the slim prospects for a guilty verdict as he indicated the state’s intentions to switch out Rittenhouse’s current charges with “a multitude of lesser charges” for the jury to come to a decision on.

The end of the article states:

"Thankfully, it is unlikely that the prosecution will get their wish of adding new charges that are more likely to garner a conviction."

I don't think that's true at all. Sure, for the one count that the judge said no to, but they added lessers to all the other charges as well. The judge seemed to indicate he would allow those lesser charges. Hopefully he changes his mind before the decision is made.

That was my recollection watching the trial live yesterday. I might have to watch it again. Though, I'm not sure I'm up for watching the defense sit silently as one of the most critical assertions, provocation, just fucking breezes right through.

I'm not sure I'll be able to sit through closing arguments as they call him the provocateur for three hours.

And I was shocked yesterday that the defense didn't bring up how gayge admitted to lying under oath. I don't see how they can let that slide.

There was so much that was missed.

ILO watching the trial again, I'm watching Atty Rekieta do a week-two wrap up (recorded last night). He just pretty much started off his review calling yesterday a big black pill, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jZSvswDYIU

He makes some good points. Might take me a bit to get through the stream, but it's pretty interesting.

If the judge has to go over the video 30 times, and still doesn't see it, that "evidence" shouldn't be allowed. And all while the prosecution is yelling in his ear what he's supposed to be seeing.

"We've already hashed it out." That was terrible. Kyle probably gonna get fucked over.

I had to stop watching the last couple of days. Too much downtime now that witness testimony is over, and too many black pills. Prosecutor pulling all sorts of shady shit out of the bag, and getting away with it. Infuriating. The only hope is that the jury sees through this shit and acquits on all charges.

It's pretty hard to watch. Not sure how many times I yelled at the TV. Fingers crossed they didnt kick out all the sane ones. That guy who was released because of the Jacob blake joke might have been Kyle's only hope.

Yep, the whole point of lesser included charges is that it's more likely to get a conviction.

It seems they are going to do anything to get a conviction so they dont have to tell the niggers and antifa to not burn down their precious liberal city AGAIN

There's a movie about the IRA where the main character is aquitted and they tell him that he has to go back to the prison to be discharged. He tells them "Fuck You" and walks out.

There is no peaceful solution. There is no political solution. We have an enemy occupation force pretending to be a legitimate government.

Those guys on the rekieta stream thought friday was very bad for kyle because of the provocation instruction that will now be given to the jury, because the defense “didn’t object enough” or something.

He could still go away for a long time.

Didn't they convict that cop of every single crime on the list, like TOTAL RETARDS? SUPPOSED to be pick and choose depending on culpability I thought.

The worst part is the judge told Kyle he had the choice to either roll the dice with the main charges or go with the main charges and lesser charges. On what I assume was advice from council, he went with the main plus lesser. It was a very dangerous move and I personally think his attorneys committed malpractice with the way they advised him.

All four of the attorneys need to be disbarred.

It really is an eye-opening experience. I always new the system was fucked from top to bottom, but watching it happen in real time with a solid guy explaining it all is really edifying.
