I get the feeling that the reason for that isn't that they decided to go with an all Nip cast either.

An all nip cast wouldn't make sense either, just look at the drop down list of characters google provides, the the first 3 and jet black are the primary reccuring characters whites or happas, the whitest character got cast as a nigger by netflix, ed wong is a tomboy raised by "wolves" type situation btw, not a trans character.

I am not an anime fan or know anything about Cowboy. But a few things I follow have talked about this NF version. I think the Ed character shows up at the end of what has been released.

Why would you have to pay for any of it. I get every network and Sub services content, commercial free, and haven’t had cable or paid a dime in 12 years. All streemable on a better site design then Netflix, with no ads or subscriptions.
I admire the discipline to go TV free, but it baffles me to here there are still people retarded enough to pay for television and movies.

Well - it was a Japanese cartoon, so I woudlnt' mind if all the characters were asian. Of course they didn't go for that and made some "alternative universe". I personally don't give a shit. I don't have netflix subscription, never had, don't care about them and what they do.

The main cast were mostly white. Only ed had darker skin than the rest of them. And even then it's debatable whether that was a natural skin colour or a tan.

Jet Black (the big guy) is white, visually. But aurally he is black, because he is voiced by a black actor (Beau Billingslea). Fun fact, Beau is 76 years old.
