I converted all mine to highest bitrate MP3 and have a huge library. Only $25 a year to upload them all to a cloud and hear them on every device.

Better hold onto them CDs and DVDs...the day is coming when you may not be able to afford music streaming services or Netflix. Hollyweird and the music industry are up to no good. DRM and DMCA are setting the foundation for future price-gouging like you ain't never seen before.

External hard drives are more efficient hard disk storage mediums. You can burn discs to play anytime you like, and you can back them up easier.

I have three sets of paired drives.
I have a drive full of shows and movies.
I have another that is my library.
I have a third for games.

My wife and I don’t need internet and only use our internet for this kind of stuff.
