I went today. It was a good outing. I didn't bring enough snacks to feed all the "seagulls" whose mums didn't bring any though!

It was a good day in Melbourne - except for the damn wind. Dan Andrews and wind, the twin curses of Melbourne.

Yeah fucking Melbourne ice wind straight from the Arctic is the worst. I mean excluding Dan Andrews.

Aww look at that. Aussies are finally smart enough after 3 jabs and 2 years in lockdown. Enjoy your 92.7% incoming sudden death rate.

Good, perhaps property prices will be affordable again on an average wage like it was in the early 90s.

The median income I just googled was apparently as low as $48,360 before tax. The average property price in the country is now $1.3Million.

Also use your guns faggots, stop teasing us, show us Aussie retards how it's done you actress.

Yeah, the best way I find to talk about property prices in the past compared to today is average income & average property in X year compared to average income and property price in current year. How many years would the average person living at with parents / paying zero expenses need to work to buy outright/pay off a average house?

I'm just worried it will be foreigners coming in and buying and the prices won't fall (or not significantly).

They already are, look at what happened to Toronto, Canada in the 90s.

You have to move regional, but there is no work there because the govt is full of Shabbos and has only made infrastructure for 10 major cities (inc Newcastle, Wollongong), not 600 like in every European country or the USA.

Home and land package in 1992 was 250K for 1/4 acre @ $27,227annual wage.
Now its $880,000-$1.3M for 320m2 @ $48,360, not factoring in inflation of all common goods, petrol, utilities, etc. Look at staples like bread and milk and work out cost per income and we all understand that there is zero opportunity in this nation if you are under 40.

Soon home ownership in Australia will even be unaffordable if you were an Arab Sheik with 9 wives and you made them all work.

I mean even more than they are now. You have to move proper rural really as more than an hour out of the outskirts of some cities are still city prices.

Also on inflation, basket staples like milk and bread are often sold at a loss or close to cost to get people in the door (or perhaps because the basket states determine inflation statistics?) and the cost is recouped on other products. And let's not forget shrinkflation is not counted (200g pack of X slowly reduced to 164g pack but $5 price never changes, therefore 0% inflation on product X!). Meat is injected with water to increase sale weight and other kikery.

The third jab has barely started - that's why Morrison intends to write to every Aussie to get it.

Muh guns. As if America is a paradise.

America is no dreamboat that's for sure. God, we have our fair share of fucking retards here too. Maybe the death vaxx will kill off the morons and the world will be a better place?
