If you drink it black it's easier to notice.

I either do black, or very minimal cream.

Half cream Half sugar...and I use only brown raw cane sugar that I also have plenty of.

I've been so accustomed to drinking Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee for the last 30 years that I have a hard time drinking anything else, Costa Rican beans have a strong flavor but still flat...I actually want to chew my JABLUM coffee it's so good, and I'm sitting on 25lbs of it.

I once saw a pound of Blue Mountain selling for $250. This was direct from the roaster, a large regional outfit, around 25 years ago.

Any tips for us plebs as for affordable sources?

Just ran a search and found about 100 different kinds ranging from around 20-80 per pound.in Canada.

Evidently, times have changed :)

With @Zyklonbeekeeper mentioning 25 lbs., I had envisioned some sort of super deal on bulk purchases.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to both look into it further and respond :)

JABLUM was as high as $300.00 per 3/4 lb bag in Canada 25 years ago. Being in Jamaica and Barbados for 3 decades I had some exclusive privileges and one of them was the mercantile access to a "wide range" of goods. Every time I'd return to Canada I would bring back loads of JAMAICAN BLUE MOUNTAIN COFFEE...it is the best. Another meaningless FYI...there was a canning facility near the Appleton Estate in Jamaica that would pack coffee tins with "GANJA RESIN" AKA "OIL"...loads of the dope was moved off the island that way and the guys involved did it for 10years without getting busted. Also note that, Scotland Yard, DEA, CIA, ATF, RCMP AND CSIS swarms throughout the 3rd world Caribbean, Central and South America.

It all tastes differently to me. All brands, types, some are really really bad, some is drinkable, some is really nice.

Stop filling 50% of your cup with milk. That helps.

Oof. Probably should have anon posted.

Anonposting is for faggots.

Agreed.

It's all marketing and the coffee snobs that spend hours dissecting and discussing perk over drip, and how much money they have to spend on the right kind of kettle that pours over the grounds correctly have no reason to live.

They would benefit greatly from having all coffee removed, no matter what kind of coffee it is or could be.

Roast your own; you just need a cast-iron skillet and 20 min. Light, Med, Dark; your choice.

That actually sounds pretty awesome.

A long time back, a local shop near the office would roast their own.

I used to like to go in early and hang out with the owner while he roasted beans.

Roasting coffee beans have an interesting smell. Not at all like what I would have expected.

Can you taste the cockroaches?

Sorry if I ruined your morning routine. I got over it and still drink it.

I've heard that is a thing that can happen when your tongue is well-coated with semen.

Now it all makes sense...

Coffee is coffee to me too. I don't put anything in it. I prefer INSTANT though. Quick. Don't drink it much.

Liberals RUIN everything the touch (with phoniness and LIES and HYPE).

All dark roasts taste like shit. Get single origin light to medium. Kenyan vs Ethiopian vs Columbian is drastically different.
