Inalienable rights
Don't let them lock you out of voting, you have a right to protest.

Remember the recent VIC heat map that showed most protestors were coming from the outer suburbs, not your usual paid crisis actors in the inner city.

my big concern with this polling that is being mentioned in the video is that...

1.Just because they win the election by votes, does not guarantee that the current government won't do some sneaky shit. (lose votes not in their favor, extend their position of power due to a emergency, magically get 51% of the vote at the last minute, refuse civilians from voting cause covid, etc, etc)

2. Even if the current regime gets put out to pasture, does not mean that any of the other current politicians won't do the exact same thing or worse.(Even if they say they will be different because politicians are lying fucks)

3. This council elections will probably be completely overlooked by the higher ups if they don't follow the beck and call of the larger political parties.(If someone could confirm the pull this council has please feel free to let us know)

They pay attention to local elections and by elections. The current governing party of Australia is unlikely to see power again for the next 50-100 years, and thats not hyoerbole

Politicians serve themselves, but also, understand that unless you get power, your policies mean nothing.
If the local elections result in zero votes for current government, you might even see vote of no confidence in leader as back bench MP's shit themselves realising that they are staring down the barrel if never getting into power, ir being safe to leave their hone.

Dan andrews has ensured, that he will be living in lockdown for the rest of his life

Our constitution is designed to have individual elected officials represent a community, but for a long time it's based on parties who are designed like mini corporations that are self-serving or for the benefit of the party donors. They don't serve the people anymore and have no accountability because the way preference votes in a two-party system work.

You vote for red jew or blue jew, and unless there is a massive paradigm shift in voting preferences nationwide, which is unlikely to happen because of all the different races, religions, NPCs and marxist bots nothing is likely to change, but I hope it will.

If the local elections result in zero votes for the current government

Here's hoping but we need a change at Federal level for that to work, as local MPs are already blocking constituents from contacting them and they do nothing for the community. There are several major electorates that have been doing this for the last few months.

There are some independent parties that are neither LAb or LIB forming such as in Kiama council.
Regardless of who you vote for they are ignored unless the local party has X populatyion and alligns with state party policy.

That's what pork barrelling is, Libs give to Lib areas like Penrith and nothing to the Lab, Green or Independent local councils.

At our last council elections all four of the candidates in my electorate were Greens/Labor types (they use local govt positions to springboard to the state level.)

They all mentioned refugees and climate change as pressing issues. Local concerns? Pfft.

Yeah, they'll place economic migrants in your local electorate so they have a voter base for the next election.

Labor is just copying USA Demoncrat policy of late, both Lab and Lib are visionless goons and shabbos goys.
Even the Australian Strategic Policy Institute mentioned this in no uncertain terms.
They also said the greatest threats to Australian security was Israel first and China second.
