They are a bit too greasy for me, I’ve only had duck a few times in my life. I went with rabbits for meat for now.

A lot depends on how you cook them, getting it crispy is a process. If you can render the fat as it cooks then you can use it to flavor other things.

I've only ever stewed rabbit with tomato sauce. Not sure what else to do with them really.

I have several ducks that I keep around for eggs. Not one of them has ever been a problem, and they are all sweet to me and to each other. I've also raised quail and chickens, both of which I nearly lost animals because of how aggressive they are with each other.

So my question is, what the hell happened between you and ducks?

Goose is better, but too damn expensive; ducks are almost as good, a lot less costly, and a lot easier to find year around.
