WatchPeopleDie was the name of an old reddit that was nuked. Some went to Voat and its the reason I found Voat.

That being said, this version of WPD is really "this is the bullshit that can happen to you."

Terribly injured but not dead is perfectly ok. Like this video, it can still be really unsettling, but still educate about "what happens".
