My man I think I remeber when you posted a pic with a newspaper. You're a goofy SOB but you seem alright. You also spin your gears a lot. I notice that becuase I do it too. We live in a dying empire and lots of things are going to look like aliens robbing our brains while we sit and watch. We don't know where it's going specifically, but we know that dying empire part for sure.

So, I'll suggest that we look at other dead empires and ask ourselves what lasted then. That's where you can see how the aliens ended up, that's where you can do something real. The graveyards are full of indispensible men, but they're also full of uncarved headstones. We're all casting shadows we'll never see.

Some guys became martyrs, others were nameless warlords, a few did something we still remember. I think I might end up as some kind of archivist, in something akin to a monasatary if I make it another decade. My point is, if you imagine yourself in that dying empire, you might find something you can do besides watch people's brains get robbed. Something other than fret and stare. I hope so anyway.
