Depends on the state but generally assets brought into the marriage are considered separate property, meaning they belong to whoever brought them into the marriage. Rent or investments derived from that property during the marriage may be open to community property rules but the house itself is separate.

She'll manage your resources as if they were her own, because they are, and value your sweat and labor in the comfort of knowing one day she'll be rid of you and have it all.
