Way back when i was a teenager, my dad joined the local Mormon church. They were always harassing us kids to join. One summer they got a lot of the teenagers and told us they needed us to go out to an orchard owned by one of the members to hoe weeds around the trees, and we would be paid. After 6 hours working in the hot sun, we were getting on the bus to go back to town and I asked when we would be paid and how much. They told us we would get so many 'blessings'. Then when ever we were told to count our 'blessings' we would have more to count.
