Some engineering girls are choice wife material. Smart, handy, and increasingly often, fit and good looking. Consulting work leaves them plenty of time for motherhood and raising much needed intelligent children.

The rockets are launched from Florida but made in Huntsville Alabama. The first thing you see on the way to Alabama is an actual unused Saturn V rocket at the welcome center.

I'll be honest: I think the real reasons those things and Houston are where they are is politics: LBJ in particular being a southern Democrat. I don't think southerners are stupid, though.

It's a BI, but your point is well taken. Headquarters is in Virginia, Propulsion is in Huntsville Alabama, Manned Systems are in Houston TX, Michoud assembly facility is in New Orleans, Stennis Space System is in Mississippi, and integration and Launch is in Florida. Even JPL is in SOUTHERN California. LOL
