Idea: rig a set of shotguns in strategic areas in your home, preferably a “murder hallway”. Use an electrically controlled motor to tighten a string over the trigger so it can be fired remotely. Just a remotely operated solenoid. Also, because most states don't allow for the use of deadly force to protect property only, I suggest keeping no evidence. I also suggest not using Ring as they keep the video on remote servers and you couldn't scrub that.
