Are any of you all familiar with a band called Taste?

I happened across an album by a band called 'Taste' and those fuckers rock. They were a band from like 68 to 71 and I had never heard of them before, ever. How did I miss these guys?

I'll have to check them out. Same thing happened to me recently. I forgot all about Cactus (they later became Vanilla Fudge). They had the song: 'Long Tall Sally'. I always thought someone else created that song. Turns out, Eddie & Alex Van Halen were huge fans of Cactus and were influenced by them. You can listen to the Cactus song 'Let Me Swim' and it is where VH got the inspiration for Eruption. Then listen to their song 'Parchman Farm'. It is Hot For Teacher'. Cactus' guitar player recently passed away.

I have Cactus and Vanilla Fudge on vinyl. Fuckin love those geoups. Had no idea they were the same group though. My old man was a big fan of both. I inherited his records. He had great taste in music.

Back in the 90's Vanilla Fudge was getting back together and Eddie Van Halen called and said why! Get fuckin Cactus back together! lol Its cool to hear Cactus' drummer tell the story recently

He has never heard of them because when he was born nobody listened to vinyl anymore and the album was never released to CD. OP was a victim of technology.
