Why don’t boomers get angry about politics?

They all just joke about it or make complaints on facebook. I don’t think I have ever seen actual rage from them. Is it because they all have theirs and living an easy life? Meanwhile most young right-wingers fedpost.

I had one tell me "I don't understand how your generation hasn't started a revolution", referring to the political madness of the last few years. They really don't think it has to do with them, or seee how they did anything wrong. A generation of solipsists.

This person was not comfortable. In fact she and her husband barely have heat this winter. Though supposedly the "average" boomer has about 200k in savings, so maybe we'll see rage posts when a few of them live long enough to blow through that and feel the effects of their apathy.

You seem to have at least part of the answer: they are comfortable. They have also been thoroughly conditioned to respond to specific stimuli in specific ways. It's not much different from how a hunting dog can be trained to not freak out when it hears gunfire.

I don't think so. They're old and tired, and don't have any more clue about what to do than the younger generations. Boomers aren't happy, but the world is not the world they grew up in, or the world they were promised. They were subjected to "up up with people" happy horse shit coming out of the 60s. People want to be good. They thought they knew better than their parents. I can tell you, my father and grand fathers had no illusions about niggers or jews.
