In fact, it's a likely sign that the more intimidating a system appears to be, the more vulnerable it actually is, and the bigger the fatal flaw that exists, which their appearance of invulnerability is intended to cover for.

If they seem unbeatable, it's likely that this is an illusion to keep you from trying to beat them, and in so doing, discovering that exploit and weakpoint that could be used to vanquish them.
Then they really will, reduce workload. subsets the work. better to be considered not a threat, than to be taken out of the game entirely (and not be a threat).
