It used to be "who threw the first punch?"...they were the ones that caught shit. Now it's "you shouldn't have been fighting."...regardless of who started it. Then suspension/jail/fines, et cetera for all involved. Sad state of affairs.
Imagine being a villager during some lawless time. Occasionally, bandits come by to steal and fuck shit up. Usually, they just knock some fence posts over and take an animal or two.
One day, they try to take the last goat belonging to an old lady. She starts screaming and flailing and tries to prevent the bandits from taking the goat. Her resistance agitates the bandits. In the past, when the bandits have gotten angry, they've killed villagers and burned homes.
This time, you have a chance to prevent that from happening. Do you:
A) Attack the bandits in an attempt to help the old woman?
or
B) Scold the woman and restrain her so that the bandits can take her goat and move on?
A lot of times it's easier to argue with people you trust (like friends and family) or are at least not intimidated by (like neighbors) than to face real threats.

For this and so many other reasons we need to turn our neighbors into neighborhoods, but that takes...hear me out...mothers. Yes, women, who have successfully mothered their own children then need to take that feminine energy and focus it on their local communities. They need to make sure their men all know each other and basically get along. That's what we're missing.
Women don't (can't?) realize that feminism is bad for them until they're in their 40's and they realize the clock ran out. Even mothers who are capable of leading a corporation would be better off raising an army of their own offspring at home. It starts in school and in many homes. Women cannot raise boys into men and should never be allowed to be their teachers or single guardians.
