you can't blame this on an increase in "diversity" in los angeles. this is directly resulting from the DA legalizing crime. it's been memory-holed for obvious reasons but the major crime increase in American cities in the 1970's was a direct result of jews gutting the judicial system and letting tons of criminals run around.
