If you have a shit ton of coffee mugs and want to use them to grow plants, this might be a good thing to know.

I am not sure it is useless. There are projects where having this knowledge would be useful.

Works for glass too. You can cut glass with an ordinary scissors if it's underwater, which is far from useless.

Now how do I fix the hole in my mug?

Also, was there air inside the mug or did he let the air swap for water?

That's what I want to know. Seems too important for that part of the equation to be left out.

Only one way to be sure

Dip the whole fucking mug in the can. It would be indestructible.

No air. Sat right at the bottom and after he pulled the nail, no air escaped.

Good eye!

Thanks that make sense. I was thinking that air inside would add pressure to keep it together. The shock of the strike must be absorb by the non-compressable water.

Does it also work using a railroad spike on a nigger’s head?

[ - ] PeckerwoodPerry 2 points 3.4 yearsJan 22, 2022 14:34:02 ago (+2/-0)

Nah, everyone knows niggers are hydrophobic. That's why they smell so bad.

Please find out and let us know. But be sure and do multiple trials.

I wonder what the other side looks like, also how often it works

[ - ] boekanier 1 point 3.4 yearsJan 22, 2022 08:50:52 ago (+1/-0)

I'm doing this all the time...

[ - ] SparklingWiggle 2 points 3.4 yearsJan 22, 2022 21:10:36 ago (+2/-0)

Do it to every coworkers coffee cup.

[ - ] RecycledElectrons 0 points 3.4 yearsJan 22, 2022 18:45:21 ago (+0/-0)

Bullshit. If it worked, there would have been bubbles coming up when the punched the hole through. The mug would have been full of air from being put in upside down, and the hole would have let air out.

After TheGreatWhiteHope mentioned it, it is very likely he intentionally filled it with water. The water absorbs the shock that otherwise would shatter the mug.
