A FORMER Miss America contestant and her bodybuilder husband had recently moved to get away from rising crime before he was shot dead in front of their toddler.

Thomas Hand, 37, and his wife Christine Kozlowski, 33, were preaching in a poor neighborhood in Montgomery, Alabama when a 17-year-old teen allegedly shot him out of nowhere.

There are enough Christian goats here who know the /correct way/ to do things. For how fervently their beliefs are defended from the trolls here, I've always been curious as to why they don't self-organize (aka at least collaborating on distilling an actually /pure/ doctrine) and go spread that doctrine to the large disenfranchised Christian populace-- particularly the younger ones... I feel like its an untapped strategic resource that's not being properly utilized.

Maybe because they're not followers and don't really want to create followers. They're independent thinkers and want to encourage independent thinking. Reading the words should be enough. It's impractical and probably unrealistic expectations of that tendency. The public schools turned most into followers who don't want to think. They want to be correct and need authority to tell them they're correct.

YOu'd have to become their authority. They're subject to empty flattery they call encouragement, so organizing them and becoming their authority would mean flattering them and it's dishonest and slimy.

Honestly, I can't say I disagree with that assessment-- but given the current layout of the board, I'd say something needs to happen. /Our side/ is barely playing defense at this point. The game will have to be played if /we/ want to win, no matter how disgusting and unpalatable it is. Survival is not easy or fair after all.

If they're looking for authority, give it to them. They may be the worst kind of raw material and be wrong on every level imaginable, but it's hands in the wheelhouse and we definitely need more of that. If enough of them are cultivated then we're bound to come across worth-while resources (relatives/kids/whatever) at some point. If flattery of ego and imposition of faith is what will bring them there, then it should be done. Goats here at least know what bad leadership is, due to their own loud personal disgusts with it. Congrats, most of you are qualified as terrible as that is for those of you with some sense.

I don't think a fully independently thinking society could ever be successfully cultivated on a large scale. Most people will want someone to point the finger to tell them where to stand--- and ultimately if it's not /us/ doing it, it'll be some (((gross-O slimey fuck))) worse than us. (and currently is)

Voat is a place that needs to exist because it has to for /people like us/, we should be striving for a future where it doesn't need to. If digging up and re-laying the oldest stones of Christendom at night in a muddy wet swamp in the freezing rain is what we need to do to move towards that future, then we should do it.

While I don't mind shooting the shit with all you assholes on here, our time together in salty saloon on clownplanet^tm is inevitably limited, so why not be productive. After all the distillation and distribution of knowledge is easier to commit to than most of the alternatives.
