It's a double-edged sword.

High trust and compassion allowed White civilization to reach the highest standard of living, yet those traits also create a vulnerability to subversion and violence.

A high capacity for violence is required for survival, yet that and the resulting low trust will lower the standard of living, greatly reducing the quality of the civilization.

And so, a fine balance must be achieved; simultaneously we must retain the compassion we have for our people and learn to embrace violence when needed.

It's almost like a spell. I've known people that were raped or seriously harmed by others. But when I offer to permanently solve that problem, they tell me they don't want me to, because I'd be just as bad as the problem in question.
Then I explain I can never be as bad, as those that harmed them did it out of desire, whereas I would be doing it because others need me to.
They say they don't want me to get arrested, so I tell them I'll take as much time as needed to not be caught.
They say they just don't want me to, and they are unable to explain why.

I don't know why they want to make peace with the devil, knowing full well it's the devil and will stab them in the back. It's why I said it feels like a spell.

"muh morals" is an excuse, keep digging and you'll find they have no reason.

That you know of. Many races of humans have risen and fallen over the two million years we’ve been here. Why did those other races go extinct? Hard to say in most cases.

Culturally, we’re hard on the outside, soft and caring on the inside. We were infiltrated and our caring components are exploited. The men on the wall can’t enforce the borders and are being demonized. The women are calling more shots with a broken sense of empathy and fairness. It’s a recipe for doom.
