Antagonism.

If my mind made the world I would not self-antagonize. Literally everything I do requires some sacrifice. It would be better not to sacrifice. Some sacrifices are those to which we are so well-adapted we barely notice them.

We tend to call those powers, when we can do them just like that - think: wiggling a finger.

But life is also filled with pain/struggle. If I want not to be a fat fuck, there are things I must give up. Why? Because there are facts about an external world that make it necessary; I can't wish myself skinny, or for my current actions to stop making me fat. I must change. Yet I would not self-antagonize, and so this antagonism comes from without.

If the world is flat or it is round, it is not because my mind has those features. Mind has no such features. If I were making a world, I wouldn't make a world. A world implies space, which implies distance, which implies choices about where I will go and prioritize this thing over that thing.

If I were to create a world, it would be no world. There would not even be things. Because that implies there is value in the other, which I must derive. I would simply be, in a state of everlasting and infinite pleasure and comfort.

If my mind were creating a world, I would be God and there would be no world. But this desire to have such a state is precisely the way to know that I am not God.

For what God must necessarily be, in order for there to be a world (or worlds) at all, is a principle of infinite giving. Not of receiving. But my inclination to receive experience is just how I know that this world is not something I am creating.
