Fell asleep on the couch again last night.

8pm?? What, are you up watching Carson? I’m in bed by 4:30 PM. Wake up 1am to take watch for 5 hours to relieve my kids. I hit the range at sunrise for about 3-4 hours. Work out, we listen to Dr. Pierce radio shows or sing hymns with the kids once they’re done with homeschooling and chores. Rinse and repeat.

I went through a period during which I'd fall asleep in front of my computer (I have this massive setup with three giant screens, so it's pretty easy to get comfortable).

But I figured out why I was doing that: I didn't want to get in bed with my horrible bitch of a wife.

So I found a solution: I now sleep, by myself (well, with the cats), in a separate bedroom (on a separate floor) from my horrible bitch of a wife.

And while it makes for a really fucking depressing life which makes me think of suicide every gods-damned day, at least I have a super comfortable bed to go to every night.

Fuck.

My wife suffers from vestigial mental illness on her mother's side which she and her mother actively hid from me when we were dating. Had I known this I never would have married her.
