The ~~Chinese~~ *Japanese and Koreans put a great deal of emphasis on what your blood type is, and think it will affect how successful you are in life, etc. It is almost a way for them to be, for lack of a better term, like a micro-racist against other members of their race. Instead of "Sagittarius" on dating apps, they will say "type A negative" or whatever.
Only Europeans, Japs, and Koreans have majority type A blood.

How does one find their blood type? I don’t trust hospitals much these days as I’m afraid of what they would do to me if I go in there. Can you find it on a birth certificate?

No, not in my state. I found out by donating blood to the red cross, they give you a little card with your type on it.
