Quick way of identifying houses with non-whites in them

A shoe rack full of shoes out front. A pair of work boots or gumboots excepted of course. But a bunch of sneakers and dress shoes by the front door? Non white alert!

I've been to a few over the last year due to work. Most didn't even bother with a rack, they just left them on the porch.

With all of the lovely little creatures in Australia who can quickly ruin your day, there's no way I'd leave my shoes sitting on the ground outside.
