I'm surprised at the massive propaganda currently on the site right now.
Can anyone explain in factual context why Russia is invading Ukraine? Why are they right or wrong to do so? Why Ukraine is right or wrong for fighting back?
I'm trying to be as agnostic as possible with this post.
An invasion of Russian must go through the territory named Ukraine. When the U.S. instigated a coup in 2014 and replaced the pro-Russian leader with an anti-Russian one the Donbas region and Crimea voted to leave Ukraine and join Russia(Crimea is the most Russian of the two). Ukraine sent its military forces to the region and they've been battling it out ever since(with the Russians who live there, not the Russian state.
It's Putins job to secure the existence of Russia and secure it from threats. Ukraine is right in fighting back simply because they are being invaded. They have basically been used by the U.S. in geopolitical games.
Ukrainians and Russians are two different ethnic groups, many Russians live in Donbas(more than 50% i believe). The vast majority of Crimea is Russian. It was a Russian territory before Ukraine got to administer it during the soviet period and kept it after the fall of Soviet.
Invasion is only really ever 'right' from the invader's perspective. Anybody else will probably find it 'wrong'.
USA installed a corrupt puppet government in Ukraine, having overthrown the duly elected corrupt government before it.
I am not supporting either, but I'd rather we allied with Russia against china. I mean, that was a possibility a couple of years ago before everything got even FUBARer than it already was...
There is certainly more to it than that, but if you just look at the fuckery that has been afoot with the whole "Belarusian protests", "Maidan Uprising" which both seemed to be orchestrated from the west, to the expansion of NATO:
I would say that Russia has every right to be concerned. Now, add to that the west giving Ukraine the belief that they can join the EU and NATO, well it was just more fuel to the fire.
If anything, they should have told Ukraine to look toward a policy of neutrality, and perhaps things may have worked out differently.
One of the factors involved is that during Soviet times, they moved people around in order to make areas more diverse and less likely to unite and rise up against the Union.
For example, by the fall of the Soviet Union, native Latvians represented only 52% of the population of their own country. In Estonia, the figure was 62%. Kazakhstan is only 30% Kazakh.
In Ukraine, they moved in Russians. Over time, all the ethnic Russians moved to areas with more Russians, and the ethnic Ukrainians moved to areas more populated by Ukrainians.
After the 2014 Ukrainian Revolution, they outlawed the Russian language, and... well they just tried to make life for Russians miserable so they would leave. Crimea being 80% ethnic Russian, said "yeah we'll leave, but we're taking our land and homes with us". Eastern Ukraine tried to do the same, but failed.
In order to prevent Eastern Ukraine from separating, the Ukrainian government tried to ethnically cleanse the east of ethnic Russians. Russia responded by protecting ethnic Russians from the ethnic cleansing, prevent them from flooding across the border as refugees, and also try to help them separate with their homes and land (so they aren't just homeless refugees, and to gain land and resources.)
So.... when it comes to this factor - The Ukrainian people wanted Ukraine for the Ukrainians, and to force out Russian foreign influence. But to do that they needed to ethnically cleanse their country. And when it comes to this factor, Russia is the virtuous protector. While Ukraine are evil racists guilty of ethnic cleansing.
Why doesn't the world support the virtuous Russia who is trying to protect the diverse people in other countries from discrimination? Because they will be able to do this in every former Soviet state. For example they've already done it in Georgia. So it needs to stop somewhere.
There are other factors. Many, many other factors. But this is one. None of this is as easy as the good guys wear white cowboy hats, and the bad guys wear black. Everything can be justified as being either good or evil. And there are a lot of factors in play.

A truth few have the mental capacity to process or accept.
"How terrible is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven!"
Not sure about him not being a jew part. I've heard that his mother was a jew and based on that he has been surrounded by jews since day one of his birth, having surrogate jewish grandparents, a jewish judo coach that he looked up to, two best friends that were jewish who he later helped to become billionaires, a jewess that mentored him and helped him study German which is what made his career in the KGB possible and among many other factors, it wouldn't come as a surprise either if he was in fact jewish.
And even if he isn't jewish by birth, he has the mentality of a jew which is just as bad.
Saw that. He seems to be a bit one-sided. Putting munitions amongst civilians isn't proof you want them killed. You wouldn't put them in an open field to get destroyed.
I'm beginning to think its a jew scam. Zelinski, a failed actor/comedian, is walking the streets taunting Russia. Russia stopped yesterday and hasn't taken Kiev. It looks like it all calmed down. Starting to look a lot like a planned, fake jew psy-op.
