I don't get it. The vehicles are old, the weapons are not futuristic the soldiers are too young or too fat or too old.... and Russia is taking too many casaulties. Wtf is happening here.
The Russian Army is still largely a conscript Army. Many of the conscripts are 17 to 20 yrs old and largely from rural Russia. The Russian Air Force has been in shit shape for 20yrs. Many of their aircraft are in poor maintenance shape and there is has been a shortage of trained pilots in the Russian Air Force.
The old fat guy could be a former Russian Air Force pilot who was recalled to active duty.
It could also be complete bullshit propaganda too.
