Exactly. Think gas prices are high now? LOL This shit passes and those UBI checks will just go right back to the oil companies when gas hits $10/gallon. And forget about heating your homes up north...
That's exactly the point. The goal is to raise energy prices so high that people cut back on consumption or look for alternatives. Either way it is a tool of destruction. The New Green Deal is literally a plan to make the planet 'green again' by eradicating most people.
I just paid over $30,000 in federal taxes but they are going to send me checks worth a small fraction of the money I already sent them back to me... that's WAY more efficient than shutting down the IRS and simply stop illegally taxing citizens.
Oh wait, I saw the fine print. I worked to hard and was to productive in society, I will get nothing.
Seriously. Deductions come from spending and you have pretty wide latitude. For example, if you're buying a fridge for the break room you can buy a $500 fridge or a $5000 fridge. You need real-time accounting to make such decisions though. Breaking even is a good way to grow your business, especially now with some of the expedited depreciation they did for covid.
I plan on hiring an accountant cause I've been told the extra money in doing so will save me thousands of dollars once it comes tax season. I'm just a small fry doing lawncare but have grown to the point of needing to take it to the next step, which is scary and exciting
I've worked almost all of my adult life in the same industry and am really good at what I do. I also manage a lot of people, which is extremely unpleasant/difficult and typically how you earn more money in your wage cage.
The more you earn the more you pay, and it's not some slow sliding scale, it ramps up quickly. Also, I've discovered over the years that a lot of people don't do their own taxes and even if they do pay little attention to how much money the feds take from you. 1) Do your own taxes 2) Pay close attention to everything 3) Only matters if you make good money because poorfags usually pay nothing and/or get free money for doing nothing but being poor.
They don't care about you and your expenses. This is about giving more gibs to degenerates and getting them locked-in even more to the system of control an oppression being implemented.
Meanwhile further driving up fuel prices, which affect the cost of everything because everything is transported by diesel semi trucks to the stores. And we denied efforts to build easy methods of transferring crude oil to domestic refiners, so now all that has to be sent via locomotive or semi, too. But this will never pass. The Dems know they don't have the votes, and are putting up this stupid bill up as a classic bread and circus distraction. I doubt even degenerates will be impressed by the paltry amount.
The joke is that $240/year for 325 million people is 78 billion dollars. While this would be spread over the entire industry, it's still a massive amount of money that would further fuck over oil companies. It couldn't happen to a more deserving group, but still. And it's all because they don't understand how international trade works, and think that the situation in Russia shouldn't be affecting our prices in the US because we barely import from them.
