Accelerate faster to collapse

Fucking genius. Taxes on companies are never passed on the the consumer.

[ - ] IfuckedYerMum 1 point 3.1 yearsMar 11, 2022 09:03:46 ago (+1/-0)

Exactly. Think gas prices are high now? LOL This shit passes and those UBI checks will just go right back to the oil companies when gas hits $10/gallon. And forget about heating your homes up north...

Democrats can't see that though. They think it's some kind of magic where you give all the poor people money and companies won't react.

They are working to destroy us. Ubi is a weapon

[ - ] FalseRealityCheck 0 points 3.1 yearsMar 11, 2022 13:48:08 ago (+0/-0)

That's exactly the point. The goal is to raise energy prices so high that people cut back on consumption or look for alternatives. Either way it is a tool of destruction. The New Green Deal is literally a plan to make the planet 'green again' by eradicating most people.

Meanwhile these same people are multi-millionaires via insider trading and book deals on top of their six figure paychecks

[ - ] FalseRealityCheck 1 point 3.1 yearsMar 11, 2022 13:46:05 ago (+1/-0)

And don't pay any taxes. When people think of how these "leaders" are bought and paid for, they seldom think of how the actual money changes hands.

I just paid over $30,000 in federal taxes but they are going to send me checks worth a small fraction of the money I already sent them back to me... that's WAY more efficient than shutting down the IRS and simply stop illegally taxing citizens.

Oh wait, I saw the fine print. I worked to hard and was to productive in society, I will get nothing.

Subsidize what you want more of. Tax what you want less of.

You have a greater comprehension of what is going on than 99.99% of the people in this nation.

You had the same fine print, too? :)

If he owned a business, and was doing it right, he would be paying little or nothing.

[ - ] frankenham 0 points 3.1 yearsMar 11, 2022 16:05:20 ago (+0/-0)

As someone who runs a small business and am going fully legit this year, how do I end up paying little to nothing come tax season next year?

[ - ] Teefinyomouf 1 point 3.1 yearsMar 11, 2022 17:28:57 ago (+1/-0)

OBEY. CONSUME.

Seriously. Deductions come from spending and you have pretty wide latitude. For example, if you're buying a fridge for the break room you can buy a $500 fridge or a $5000 fridge. You need real-time accounting to make such decisions though. Breaking even is a good way to grow your business, especially now with some of the expedited depreciation they did for covid.

I plan on hiring an accountant cause I've been told the extra money in doing so will save me thousands of dollars once it comes tax season. I'm just a small fry doing lawncare but have grown to the point of needing to take it to the next step, which is scary and exciting

[ - ] FalseRealityCheck 0 points 3.1 yearsMar 11, 2022 18:14:24 ago (+0/-0)

... and am going fully legit this year...
You'll never get anywhere with that attitude.

[ - ] Swej_Ehtsag 0 points 3.1 yearsMar 11, 2022 19:18:02 ago (+0/-0)

I've worked almost all of my adult life in the same industry and am really good at what I do. I also manage a lot of people, which is extremely unpleasant/difficult and typically how you earn more money in your wage cage.

[ - ] frankenham 0 points 3.1 yearsMar 11, 2022 16:04:22 ago (+0/-0)

wtf are you doing that causes you to pay in 30k

[ - ] Swej_Ehtsag 0 points 3.1 yearsMar 11, 2022 19:21:08 ago (+0/-0)

The more you earn the more you pay, and it's not some slow sliding scale, it ramps up quickly. Also, I've discovered over the years that a lot of people don't do their own taxes and even if they do pay little attention to how much money the feds take from you. 1) Do your own taxes 2) Pay close attention to everything 3) Only matters if you make good money because poorfags usually pay nothing and/or get free money for doing nothing but being poor.

At $120 per barrel, single-filers would receive $240 a year and joint-filers would get $360.

Is this some kind of joke? At one point, I was spending that much per fucking week on gas.

[ - ] FalseRealityCheck 1 point 3.1 yearsMar 11, 2022 14:18:59 ago (+1/-0)

They don't care about you and your expenses. This is about giving more gibs to degenerates and getting them locked-in even more to the system of control an oppression being implemented.

[ - ] SmokeyMeadow 0 points 3.1 yearsMar 11, 2022 14:45:21 ago (+0/-0)

Meanwhile further driving up fuel prices, which affect the cost of everything because everything is transported by diesel semi trucks to the stores. And we denied efforts to build easy methods of transferring crude oil to domestic refiners, so now all that has to be sent via locomotive or semi, too. But this will never pass. The Dems know they don't have the votes, and are putting up this stupid bill up as a classic bread and circus distraction. I doubt even degenerates will be impressed by the paltry amount.

[ - ] TheBebot 0 points 3.1 yearsMar 12, 2022 00:12:50 ago (+0/-0)

The joke is that $240/year for 325 million people is 78 billion dollars. While this would be spread over the entire industry, it's still a massive amount of money that would further fuck over oil companies. It couldn't happen to a more deserving group, but still.
And it's all because they don't understand how international trade works, and think that the situation in Russia shouldn't be affecting our prices in the US because we barely import from them.
