Homeless makeshift shelters and campers on the street right behind him. I used to travel to that place and it was nice now it's a s hit hole.

That area is a complete shithole.

I don't remember it being 'nice', but I guess compared to how horrible it is now, maybe it could sort of be considered 'nice' if you had exceptionally low standards or something. The potholes on Hoover were incredibly terrible last time I was there, and so was the traffic... but not quite THIS bad!
