I'm no expert, but I was at one time fascinated by rude words and had several books on the subject. It probably began when I found the word "queynte" in Chaucer. I got rid of most of them over the decades but I still keep Eric Partridge's "Shakespeare's Bawdy".

There are a few titles I wish I'd written down just to have the name of the reference. I had one called "Mrs Grundy's [...]" -- I don't remember what the third word was, unfortunately. I seem to recall the author made the observation that there are more words for parts of the male and female body and for certain physical activities than anything else in English.

French may be a good rival, but I'm not a fluent speaker. However, in John Barth's "The Sot-Weed Factor" (1960), he has two whores, one French, one English, amusing themselves by exchanging epithets like "bedswerver" and "fellatrice" for seven pages. Quite a piece of research, I must say. He also introduced me to the word "swive", a very useful term.
