You have to call your credit card company and report your card stolen. They will freeze that bitch immediately and not allow a single additional charge to be placed on it.

However... the gym will then claim you owe them money, per the terms of the ridiculous contract you signed, and they turn your account over to collections and fuck with your credit.

I should have added the second part. I was going to add "and let them send the balance to collections". It only fucks with your credit for a max of 7 years, unless you're planning on buying a house sometime soon it doesn't really matter. I know this because I did it frequently years ago for bullshit like cancellation fees and other obnoxious shit and now all those outstanding collections have been expiring over the past couple of years.

Keep reading OP, most of them also state that a month is 28days so you are effectively paying 13months for a year long membership.
