It's kinda like awarding someone a road safety award out of sympathy after they walked in front of a bus. Even if Zelensky weren't the product of a destabilising coup, why would he be awarded a peace prize for failing to secure peace?

IIRC Poroshenko was the direct result of the coup, and Zelensky was just the next kike in line to be installed.

Yes. I've seen a few people say "but the coup was in 2014, you do realise Zelensky was elected in 2019 right?"

But if they acknowledge there was a coup, then what happened to remove that group from power? If nothing happened then they're still in power.
