Why is NASA even allowed to build rockets now that SpaceX is doing everything for 1/6th the cost? At the very least they should have had 75% of their budget cut.
What a stupid waste of money the SLS program is. Starship is a better platform by every metric. Just give SpaceX a green light, 25% of the budget they spent on that POS, and lets go to the fucking moon.
Im in Florida too, Im far from the cape but on a clear day I can see the falcons going up. Its amazing to watch compared to the space shuttle. The landing is just too cool.
I wish I could be impressed by and supportive of this, but it was supposed to be flying in 2015 and also not created by a bunch of nonwhites and meant to exist for more than sending a nigger and a woman into space.
Say what you will about Elon Musk, but I think we can all agree that if he had been given $23 billion of our money, we would have something to show for it beyond some photos. One of the selling points of the SLS was that it would be easy to develop due to its use of Shuttle components. It was supposed to be a Shuttle external tank with Shuttle engines and Shuttle SRBs on it. Simple! Now, over a decade later, we see that it is anything but. The damn thing hasn't even flown yet! All we've had is static fires of the engine on a test stand (something that SpaceX has already achieved with a far more radical design) and photos of tanks under construction. So much for ease of construction! SpaceX has demonstrated their Starship taking off and landing, the latter of which SLS doesn't even aspire to do. Take one look at the SpaceX development team and the NASA development team and it will be no mystery why.
NASA is living in the 60s, much like the social justice faggots who worship them. Ironic that NASA's 60s achievements are owed largely to SS Sturmbannführer Werner von Braun, huh?
