White Europeans had almost nothing to do w any of it til we ended it in the US(I mean legally anyway, no one is going to end it) And a global first that was.

As i understand it, in the jewish religion, jews can own slaves - there is no prohibition, BUT - they must ensure that their slaves are treated well, and that gets spelled out. Slaves get fed at least as good as the master, and if there is only a little food, enough for one, then the slave must get it and the jewish master goes hungry.

That's why historically, jews rarely owned slaves. The middle east not particularly bountiful. They must have freaked out about how rich the land was over here.
