Yeah, I know. Way back when I was a kitchen manager at some fancy places (I grew up in a tourist town) They would play the shit out of this song when we had DJ's on the weekends. I had an earworm for this song this morning and have been singing it all fucking day. I now pass the earworm to you guys...because I care. LOL.

Yeah, I had a similar experience. I've already admitted to being in SE VA. There is music I used to tolerate and even enjoy that now I'm so aware or normalization that I avoid all kinds of stuff. I've never liked rap in the least.

I was riding around with a long time friend who had come into town recently and he had some hiphop crap playing. I changed the channel and he later turned it back after a stop. I asked him why he listened to it. "It's what all the kids are listening to." "You're not a kid and you don't have any. Why would you listen to that garbage?" He changed it to country and never mentioned it again. I really don't even think he liked it.

I get it. I grew up when rap was in it's infancy and I've never liked it either. Mariachi music too, can't stand it.

I listened to a lot in the mid 90s, mostly Dancehall and roots. I tried to check out a few artists a year or so ago and it’s all auto tune. It sucks now.
