So when they gaslight you just call them out for gaslighting you. They will be enraged that you dared expose them and will double down and gaslight you more. So simply repeat and call out the gaslighting some more.

They will then use every trick in the playbook while becoming even more visibly enraged. Call out the tactics used and point out that you know these are the known tactics of narcissists, psychopaths and pedophiles.

They of course won't stop and will double down. Will play the victim while still using these pedo tactics. Keep calling out the tactics and nothing else.

They will have a massive psychotic meltdown especially if you just exposed them in front of others.

Tell them you have a right to establish boundaries to their premeditated toxic abuse and order them to stop.

This will be seen as a declaration of war. They will be on the attack now. So make sure you email your boss and bring up this abuse and demand their support in ending it. Keep a copy for yourself.

If the boss is enabling the abuse you can warn that they are taking part in narcissistic abuse and are criminally and financially liable for it.

Be prepared to walk out of your job, school, college or whatever your in to protect yourself from abuse.

These sick fucks always have minions helping spread slander and triangulating the abuse. Identify them and warn them they will pay a hefty price if they take part.

Warn others that trust you that you will now be slandered. It will all be projection of what they are ashamed of.

My boss was fucking with my schedule, meaning she was removing appointments from it at 10:30 pm the night before, or in the 9 am hour the day of. I thought I was going crazy. I’ve never had a job where so many people “cancelled” their appointments less than 24 (or 3) hours before, as they incur a fee. This timeframe didn’t give me any time to make that money back—she was just taking money out of my schedule. Repeatedly. I confirmed this on Thursday by checking the computer at work. She indeed passed the appointment to “her favorite” and I realized this was happening weekly for about two months. I called her out clearly, precisely, and factually, knowing I was willing to leave the place. She gaslit (after “gaslighting” my schedule for so long) and blew up on me, giving me the “look at all I’ve done for you,” “no one has ever spoken to me like this” “it’s not happening the way you’re saying it is” diatribe—denying reality, expecting an apology, and wanting me to fall in line. And I left. She was too used to dumb, weak women who just put up with it.

Here’s the deal, if you’re willing to confront it, be ready to be done with the person/place entirely. If you don’t want to call it out, act DUMB. Similar to the grey rock method. You have to shut it down immediately by acting uninterested or interrupting the conversation because you just got an important text you have to answer. Better yet, sperg out and just change the subject entirely. I thing that’s what PeckerwoodPerry is talking about.

Should be use to it the way CNN, WAPost, NY Times do it US citizens all of the fucking time.

It depends on who and why they are gaslighting you. Sometimes it's best to call them out on it. Other times it's best to cut them off. I know it's vague answers but it varies from situation to situation and you have to use your best judgement on it. The fact that it's draining is something the sociopaths use for control.

If you can't trust a person, then you need to get them out of your life.

Deal with it on a sliding scale.

1: cement the reality of the situation in your mind. Be sure you use as much concrete evidence to really set in concrete the reality of the situation.

2. When gaslighting begins, start by simply denying the gaslight but do not divulge your reasons or evidence. "No that's not what happened." (End of topic)

3. Do not, present or offer up your evidence (they will goad you into doing so). "I know it didn't happen, and I have proof. Your grip on reality is not my responsibility"

4. As they escalate, mock them, and dismiss them. "Ok then, if that's what you chose to believe, you do you"..."because you definitely have a reliable relationship with reality aye"

5. As soon as they move the goal posts, mock them mercilessly with their original accusations, then also add obviously ridiculous details.

6. Give em a gaslighting nickname...use it and dismiss.
"Oh I see detective Columbo is on the prowl again. Ok you go have fun with your investigations, I'm going to make some coffee"

The main take away...make it clear, and you can say this outright if you want, that their opinion of what happened, really doesn't effect you in the day to day or at all.

You only have to prove the gaslighter in a single lie, and it's done.

Confide in a person, and share the gaslighting as concern for the person's mental health. Make sure you tell them that you don't want them to treat X differently but they said this, and here is proof they should know it's bs. Do everything you can to ensure this person does not share what the proof is, and suggest that for the time being, until things calm down, it may be better to humour this person as they are evidently having an emotional / mental health episode..and we want to support them.

Finally....punish the gaslighter.
While you have already fucked their brain by not giving them the emotional response they expected and irritated them beyond measure by telling them you have proof but not sharing what....at every opportunity where relevant, I form them that their opinion doesn't mean shit because they were (and still are) adamant that X happened when it obviously didn't.

Send the occasional link to charity and support services for people with mental health issues.

But remember...their opinion doesn't matter. Facts matter. Don't let it piss you off, laugh in their face, and be alpha. It's an easy win.
