The amerimutt meme comes from spics and various abominaciones that don't actually identify as White. Spics are only counted as White because the United States used to have such a small hispanic population that it didn't matter, like with arabs nowadays. Of course, they wouldn't dare to change that and admit to normies that the US is nowhere near 75% White. But that is only for official statistics, the spics themselves identify as spic before anything else.

Hmm I wonder how they reconcile that with the non-Hispanic white population. It's possible some people identify don't identify as coming from Europe even though they're white. Maybe they think they're just American or something? Then again, Arabs are counted as white and don't come from Europe. I think Dot indians, too

This is strictly people who identify as European based on being born there and now living the US or having ancestors from Europe. It doesn't include other races who are considered Caucasian, so no Arabs, or pajeets, or whatever other races are lumped in with Whites and used to manipulate demographics. I believe a large chunk of Anglo-Americans whose families have been here since colonial days consider themselves as not having come from Europe; they identify strictly as American. Does that bump the percentage up to the official 63% White? No idea.

I definitely know white people who've been in the South so long they forgot and are probably of mixed European heritage. They have to be European, though, as there aren't white people anywhere else.

The problem is spics identify as white and you can't get them to check anything else. Since the census (and most government shit) relies on self-identification, they need to present in a certain way. Now, that does not excuse, for example, assigning Mestizo crime to whites, but it does sort of explain why they have "Hispanic" on a different axis: No way you'll get them to check mixed-race or Indian
