Kaitlyn Younger has been an academic standout since she started studying algebra in third grade.

She took her first advanced-placement course as a freshman, scored 1550 on her SATs as a junior at McKinney High School near Dallas and will graduate this spring with an unweighted 3.95 grade-point average and as the founder of the school’s accounting club. Along the way she performed in and directed about 30 plays, sang in the school choir, scored top marks on the tests she has so far taken for 11 advanced-placement classes, helped run a summer camp and held down a part-time job.

Intelligence is absolutely a desirable trait in women ... for some men. Without getting too lost in the woods, a smart man requires his girl to be relatively close in intellect to his, or else the union of the two identities into one becomes literally impossible, forcing that situation where both parties literally have to keep the counsel of their friends closer than the counsel of each other.

It stems from the concept that communication becomes difficult across IQ gaps, and impossible across 3 standard deviations. Some smart guy out there really needs her.

We use an anonymous points system for third level admissions. Everyone sits an exam called the leaving cert at the end of secondary school and you earn points based on the grades you receive in this set of exams. You apply for the courses you want through a centralised system called the CAO, and if you meet or exceed the points threshold for your chosen course you are accepted (points thresholds are based solely on supply and demand for a given course). You are identified only by a number so no weight can be given to any factors beyond your scores in the leaving cert, as no factors beyond that can be known to the CAO. We don’t do much right in this country but the points system works very well compared to other countries.

It was proven a few years back that the Ivies are pure nepotism since they were taken over by jews in the early 20th century (they use the terms 'legacies' and 'on the legacy list' to refer to their nepotism).

Harvard rejected so many Asians with far better stats than hers that they banded together to sue Harvard, which is what revealed the nepotism in the first place. They actually had to publicize their admission process for the suit.
