The audiobook and its consequences have been a disaster for literacy.

I'd argue that audio books have their place. I listen when I'm doing menial tasks or commuting. There are books worth listening to that I'd never have had time to read. If you ONLY listen and especially only listen to pulp trash then maybe I'd agree it's a waste.

I just finished the anti-tech revolution.

It's good I guess, but the most interesting parts were the history lessons used as reference. I didn't know some of the stuff about Hitler's rule, and the terror during Stalin.

Very interesting stuff... Could be used on the leftist if people could be inclined.

It's a huge pet peeve of mine if somebody says they're 'reading a book' when it's an audiobook. Listening to an audiobook is not reading; it's listening to a story.

Why would you listen to an audio book when you can read in 1/10th the time. Unless you're a retard nigger that can't read no good and sheet.

Hard to read books while driving or in the shower.
